I've never taken a Z unit apart before, but every other ABS I have serviced has been identical to each other; the fluid flows into a chamber of sorts, when the ABS is activated a piston pulses the fluid in the chamber to create the anti-skid effect (lowering pressure to the caliper, returning pressure, pretty quickly. Maybe 30 Hz?) This makes me think that each chamber on the Z should also be isolated (no intermixing of brake fluid streams), however if I remember correctly the inputs are already split by the time they get to the ABS unit. If I were to install it on another Z, I would install it in the cubby where the ABS unit is (on the output side) to make wiring and installation more simple.
